Museums of the Ain region

The objects in social museums are charged with humanity. They bear witness to the existence of man in his environment. Daily objects, either utilitarian or decorative, know-how, customs, sites and landscapes, etc. Ethnological heritage reflects the diversity of culture in time and space.
By “giving spirit” to the presentation of these objects, which have been manufactured, used and handed down, the museum invites us to consider questions about our own time. Every year, from the first Sunday in April to the 1st November, the Departmental Museums Authority – Museums of the Ain region offer a new cultural season, a new look at the permanent collections, temporary exhibitions, special events and educational activities for all ages, through:
