Apothecaries

Seigneuriale Architecture
Having remained an independent sovereignty for many years, Dombes still reveal its rich seigneurial past. Numerous castles bear witness to this, for example the Château of Bouligneux, with its imposing round tower in pink brick, and the Château of Fléchères with its fascinating history.

Plantay Abbey
This Cistercian monastery, founded in 1863, actively participated in drying the Lakes of Dombes under the Second Empire.
Built in the heart of a huge 270 ha property, this imposing collection of brick buildings emits a pleasant feeling of calm and serenity.
